PSG coach Luis Enrique is please with his side’s win ahead of their Champions League clash with Girona.
Paris Saint-Germain beat Brest 3-1 at home in Ligue 1 on Saturday, making it four straight wins for PSG.
“Honestly, the thing I liked most about this game was hearing the fans at the Parc des Princes for 90 minutes,” the Spaniard said after the game.
“Also, seeing all 16 players (on the pitch) calmly try to win the ball back to create scoring opportunities, to see that connection between the fans and the team is very rewarding.
“As a coach we always have that goal (to make our players play better as a team). I will not speak badly about my first season at PSG.
“Even though there are some missing pieces like .Promotion Ufabet reaching the Champions League final, this season is a continuation of the results achieve at the end of last season.
“Of course there will be defeats, it’s normal in football, but we start on Wednesday with everyone wanting to win trophies and that’s been the club’s aim for the last few years.” Enrique said.
Despite the millions of euros invested to build a competitive team since a 2011 takeover by Qatari investors, PSG is still chasing an elusive Champions League title. It will host Girona on Wednesday in Europe’s top club competition.
